Duration: 10 hours

Times: Available morning, afternoons and evenings

Cost: FREE
Venue: Available in community locations across County Meath.

Meath Partnership are delighted to announce that we have been selected by the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment to take part in an initiative designed to increase the number of internet users across the entire country. The internet is a wonderful resource and offers benefits for everybody. However, almost one in six Irish adults has never used it. This puts them at a disadvantage in this electronic age. It is hoped that this programme will assist 26,000 people around the country to get online.

As part of our involvement, Meath Partnership is offering digital-skills classes in locations around the county. Classes are aimed at people who have no experience in computer or online use.

Trained tutors, learning tools with full support and back up will be provided. The training course for participants is 10 hours, covered over a five week period, with classes for 2 hours each week. There is a maximum of 10 participants on each course.

The 10 hour course is FREE and will be informative and fun.

If you are interested in joining a class as a learner, or in getting involved as a volunteer tutor, contact Geraldine on 046 928 0790
