EU Lifelong Learning Projects 2011-2014
Meath Partnership is currently working in collaboration with over 60 organisations across Europe in 12 new and exciting Lifelong Learning Projects. These projects aim to increase the learning opportunities and educational options for adults learners in County Meath. Over the next two years, we will co-create and develop a series of innovative and new educational resources that can be accessed and used, free of charge, by service providers, trainers and adult learners within the county. Digital Latin Quarter: Building key competences in digital media in youth at risk and early school leavers

NetBox: Community Learning Social Networks: Aims to to pilot and validate a model for educationally self-sufficient rural communities where traditional consumers of educational services can become producers of educational services and content.

Sheherazade: 1001 Stories for Adult Learning: Aims to use the methods associated with story-telling in adult education curricula.

TriLamp: Transparency instruments in Education and Labour Market Policy: Evaluating the use of Transparency Instruments such as Europass, ECVET, ECTS and EURES in VET institutions and the labour market across Europe.

Move Free and Prosper: Concerned with the free movement of workers across Europe.

Work Harmony: The Work Harmony Project aims to adapt and transfer the results achieved under the Implanta project (funded under the Community Initiative EQUAL). The Implanta project aimed to design, test and implement tools to promote work-life balance.

Under My Wing: Supports the career progression of graduates from non-business related disciplines as entrepreneurs.

Balance: Supports professionals in adult education to better cope with the demands of their profession through developing a health coaching training course for adult education professionals.

Learning-v-Crisis: Aims to develop practical non-formal training programmes, targeted to people at risk of social marginalization due to economic recession.

AlphaEU: Intends to design, develop and pilot digital alphabet books and activities in 6 European languages in order to promote early language education.

VINTAGE: Aims to develop and test an online tool for the self-assessment of the key competences, to be used by adult learners involved in NVAE learning pathways.

OPTIMA: Orientation, Individual Profiling, Training, and Integration into the Labour Market for Migrants in the Southern German Boroughs of Reutlingen and Tübingen.
