Bringing Innovation to VET in Ireland
11.1.2016

Meath Partnership is delighted to announce, in partnership with Louth Meath Education and Training Board, the commencement of the Innovation Ecosystems in VET project funded by the EACEA through the Erasmus+ Programme.

This forward-looking co-operation project, offers Meath Partnership an unique opportunity to examine vocational education in Ireland, its responsiveness to business and its offering to learners by placing it within an ecosystem of policy makers and practitioners to identify a common problem and resoure the potenial of developing an innovative solution. The solution will be tested through a skunkworks model and will potential offer both policy and mainstreaming recommendations that will have appeal at both national and EU levels.

The quality of the proposal developed in Ireland sets out a development roadmap for the Irish partners in the project and our colleagues in Romania, Portugal and Cyprus. There is a genuine EU added value to this project and we are excited by the possibilities that this project presents.
